Jante says:
Welcome to the world of real music Zach. :)
Skittles says:
I like this marbel-y fellow...
Was I the first person to notice the belt buckles?
Waf says:
Hmmm, well I didn't tell Zach about em, and he found em on his own so I guess Zach found them first, but it isn't fair to put him in the competition... So yes you are the first to notice and mention it I believe.
Aja says:
Ha ha, Marbles is cute. He reminds me of a little of Aram. =)
Say... Is he wearing a monocle, or does he have one blue eye?
Waf says:
No monocle, just one of his eyes is just really messed up. I hadn't noticed he looks like Aram before but he really does.
Shaggy says:
Five years later: still funny!
Balls...
I am going to be a bit. Circuits is very keeping me busy. Look for the comic tomorrow morning.
I apologize really lot.
Zach Says
The comic will be up Sunday or Monday, thanks for waiting.
Site Updates!
Alright over the weekend Zach fixed and added a few features to the site.
Things Fixed
1. "TDiS Filler: Hooray for The Day it Snowed" is removed from the archieves.
2. Drop down archive now allows you to scroll through all the available comics.
3. Fixed broken link between "Wafball" and "One Word..."
Things Added
1. Ad system is more or less in place. We do not have a payment structure or anything like that. So if you want to show up in in the banner or tower ad, we'll link you for fan art. (Note: Linking is totally at our discretion and we will not link offensive sites.)
I'm workin' on a little side project.
You could kind of call it a TDiS revival, but you'd be dead wrong. More news when there is.
Into the comic workshop...
A lot of thought goes into each and every comic here at Jack of All Blades. For example, today we introduced a brand-new character, Marbles. Some people might think: "Oh, a new character is easy. Just draw a dude and put him on in there." To them I say, "Hah."
There is such a complex process that encompasses character creation. His bubble color, for example. I mean, I had to find a good, magician-type color for him, apply it to him, and come up with a good reason why his text bubble isn't?what is the politically correct term?gay. Purple is, and has always been a very mysterious color. Therefore, Marbles is now brilliantly flaming.
Another thing that I feel compelled to disclose is the music I listen to while I am working on Jack of All Blades. Now, before you go blaming David Bowie or Rolling Stone. you need to blame this guy, right here. He told me to check out a brilliant band by the name of The Arcade Fire. I have probably listened to their album Funeral fifty-dozen times in the past week.
I used to tell people that I didn't like music, but I realized that I just hadn't heard any good music. If you are sitting there listening to 105.X WGRS: The Hip Generic Rock Station, turn off that Creed, Staind, Papa Roach crap that has been sucking and go listen to some real music. Yeah, find the music that is too good to get played on the radio and Napster it, or something.
Other than that, I believe this concludes this episode of "Into the comic workshop," with me, your host, Zachary Lewis. I'm out.

This would have been a good one to leave the speach bubbles out of for a while.
